Moema Umann is Brazilian actress. based in New York. She started her career over 15 years ago in Brazil. Since  2006 she has been working in theater and movies produced in United States also. She holds a Bachelor degree from the University of Brasilia in performing arts and a Masters Degree from the Actors Studio Drama School. Moema Umann was nominated as best supporting actress at The World Music And Independent Film Festival 2010 for her performance on "Subcon".
Her Short Film "Noemia", which she wrote, co-directed, and acted on, was accepted at The Big Apple Film Festival, LA Femme Film Festival, New York New Filmmarkers, Hollyshorts, among others. "Noemia" is getting great reviews and it was awarded best female directing at Hollyshorts. 
The short "Little Ride Up On Clouds", which has Moema as the main carachter, was awarded as best short at London Youth Film Festival.
